How to effectively eliminate abnormalities in a 50-ton loader

During the operation of the second-hand new energy loader in the straw reinforcement experiment, the vehicle chassis made an abnormal noise. The specific situation is as follows: When driving at idle speed and rotating the steering wheel, a crisp metallic knocking sound would occur at a certain position on the vehicle chassis of this equipment. The location of the steering wheel that causes the abnormal noise is uncertain. When stepping on the accelerator pedal to speed up the vehicle, the sound becomes weaker or almost disappears.

1. Inspect the transmission shaft. When the rear axle swings on the frame, the key flange at the core of the rear axle will also swing along with it, causing changes in the dimensions and indoor space of the rear transmission shaft of the JinGong crawler-type mini excavator. Upon inspection, it was found that the rear transmission shaft does not undergo significant telescoping during the entire turning process of the loader, so there is no possibility of abnormal noise occurring here.

2. Check the car's differential and transfer case. When touching the wheel reducer part of the rear drive, I can feel a collision-like sensation. We replaced the car's differential and differential assembly, but the abnormal noise issue still hasn't been resolved after debugging.

3. Inspect the rear axle frame. In order to better simulate the working conditions of a second-hand 10-ton wheeled excavator when it emits abnormal noises, and to observe the real-time operation of the front and rear swing frames, we drove the excavator onto the maintenance service platform. Based on multiple stationary and moving experiments, we carefully observed the swing frames and discovered a 3mm relative vibration between the rear swing frame and the axle housing. It was precisely because of the vibration of the rear connecting flange on the rear swing frame that caused the connecting flange on the rear swing frame and the rear axle housing to collide with each other, resulting in abnormal noises.

Based on the common malfunctions of this equipment and an analysis of its structural design, we believe that the likelihood of abnormalities in the sound card rack, hydraulic transmission system, and gearbox is low. The abnormal noise is most likely to originate from the following three aspects: first, the transmission shaft may produce abnormal noise during its telescopic movement; second, the car differential and transfer case may produce abnormal noise; third, the rear axle swing frame may produce abnormal noise.
